Ceftazidime & Sulbactam Injection

Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin of the third generation. Ceftazidime sodium and sulbactam sodium for injection (2:1) have a therapeutic effect because the former inhibits bacterial cell wall formation and the latter inhibits -lactamase irreversibly. Ceftazidime’s antibacterial action can be boosted when the two are combined. The compound specifically aims to the mechanism of bacterial resistance, extending the life of ceftazidime in the treatment-resistant pathogen infections.
